Who has ever though of inserting social elements into a shopping app? Wanelo did! This app makes your online shopping experience look very similar to staring at a Facebook feed. The products are very neatly organized into three major categories: Women, Men and Home. Each has enough subcategories to please even the most bureaucratic of Vogons.
Regarding the social aspect, it all revolves around following users, posting products and writing product reviews. You can have your personal feed that is constructed by selecting likes and dislikes from a stream of random products. You can refine this selection anytime. Products can be added to custom collections. In this way you can organize your spending fantasies more easily. These products are also featured to users who are following you.
You can also add products directly from the web. There's a simple Internet browser that features a "Post Product" button. Once you do that, the link will be saved and you can also select one of the page's pictures to represent the product itself. If you want to send a clearer message, there is the possibility of posting stories with the option of adding in products from your collections in order to make clearer points. These will be seen by your followers but can also be published to Facebook and Instagram. You get to follow a selection of stores just as you launch Wanelo for the first time. You can add to this list at a later time just as you would add People you want to follow.

A novel way to follow interesting products to buy on the net.
A danger to your wallet
Wanelo is an interesting concept. Works great as a shopping tool in itself but can also act as an extension to your digital social life (which isn't social at all actually).
